A short guide to seven-seater chauffeur hire
Why the seat count is the wrong question
Seven seatbelts satisfies the passenger count and nothing else. What decides whether a journey works is the combination of people, luggage, journey length and how long everyone has to sit still. A twenty-minute run across London with six people and hand luggage is a different proposition from a Heathrow collection with seven adults arriving from Dubai.
The gap shows up at the terminal, which is the worst possible place to find it. By then the chauffeur is standing in the car park doing arithmetic with your suitcases, and the only fix is a second vehicle at short notice.
What a V-Class really carries
The V-Class is the default London seven-seater and a genuinely good vehicle. The problem is that its published seat count and its published boot capacity are not achievable at the same time. The rear row has to be occupied to reach seven passengers, and that row is exactly what folds down to create luggage space.

One seven-seater or two saloons?
For six passengers the arithmetic is straightforward. Two E-Class saloons to Heathrow cost £270 between them. One V-Class costs £195 and keeps everyone together, which matters more than the seventy-five pounds when the group is a family or a client team. Two cars also means two arrival times, and in London traffic those are rarely the same.
Travelling with children
A child seat occupies a passenger seat, so a family of seven with two young children is still seven in seating terms and often more in luggage terms once the pushchair goes in. Tell us the ages when you ask for a quote. A folded pushchair takes roughly the space of one large case.
Licensing, and why it matters
In London three separate licences have to be valid at the same time for a private hire journey to be legal: the operator who accepts the booking, the driver, and the vehicle itself. A clean car and a courteous driver tell you nothing about whether all three exist. Our operating partner is Willsson and Co Ltd, TfL licence number 0086340301, valid until December 2028.
